We're in the process of moving to another house an hour from here... so haven't had a lot of time to knit or weave, but I do have a hat in progress, which I can work on while watching TV or while Gary is driving...
Gary & I lived in the house before the twins were born & that's where we lived while I was pregnant with them... there was still stuff that we didn't clear out from the house & I found some cool things... mostly books & some crafts stuff...
Also found a $20 bill!

I will still be able to keep up with yarn & pattern orders for Weaving Rainbow so if you need anything, order away! I'll be putting together some new kits for a fair isle sweather & also sweaters/pullovers for Briggs & Little Country Roving: this yarn is like the discontinued White Buffalo.

2 days ago, I found the flyer to my Schacht spinning wheel & brought it back here & then couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work: I need a drive band (string's fine!) and the whorl, and I brought a whorl back today...not sure which one it is, it's 3 inches in diameter & a look on the Schacht site shows that they have several whorls:

I also have a larger whorl someplace, but I'm not sure where it is... it may or may not turn up someday!
Anyway, I'll probably try to get the spinning wheel working again & play around with some fiber I have around here... it will be nice to have a working spinning wheel until Gary gets my other wheel fixed up...
Thanksgiving
For Thanksgiving, we'll probably go and work on the house some more so that we can start living there... we have a turkey defrosting, but we'll probably eat it over the weekend... that'll give us a chance to pack & clean up over here...
