I am now carrying looms from a new supplier shown below.
Jim Hokett has retired and is no longer making looms... if you know of something that he has sold that is not on the
page, email me and I'll let you know if I still have any left.
As of 2/4/2019, cocobolo kits are sold out and I'm almost out of tiny looms. Email me if you're interested in one of these.
email me if you're interested in any that are not on the website.
The looms are 5 dent and 8 dent. Small hand looms can make beautiful mini-tapestries,
and are also great for sampling.
You are not limited to that sett: you can double your warp to make a sett of 10
ends per inch or you can halve your warp; you can also do things like putting two
warps in one slot, and one in the next slot... the possibilities are endless, depending
on the thickness of your warp.
For more information, you can email me and I will be happy to write to you.
You can also find other weavers to discuss loom options & weaving techniques on
the Tapestry Weaving group on Ravelry, as well as other sites online such as
Facebook & more..you can find online Tapestry Weaving classes, or workshops on Rebecca Mezoff's
website, Her blog has lots of resources & wonderful articles...click here
