Irish Cable Knit Sweater 02-Sw

This sweater is knit in the round from the top down. It can be made to any size by increasing or decreasing the number of sts between vertical designs. Cable patterns are given in easy-to-follow diagrams. Quite striking! It's easy to get it to fit because you can try it on as you go.

Color & Texture Sweater 03-Sw

Knit in the round from the neck down. Pattern is created by dip-dying yarn, then you knit one color and purl the other. The result is interesting and mystical. Everyone will wonder how you did it!

Entrelac Sweater 04-Sw

Patchwork Sweater 14-Sw

Fun seams are the design element. You knit eight rectangles and join them with a special stitch and brightly colored yarn. Sleeve panels are made to fit with easy decreases. Knit by hand or machine. Small panels make this a good carry-along project.

Aran Cardigan with Saddle Shoulder 16-Sw
Knit from the bottom up with an interesting series of cable and texture patterns. Cables start on saddle shoulder and go down to wrist. Design gives a nice square fit to the shoulders.

One Piece Blouse 18-Sw
This ancient weaving technique can be knit or crochet in many variations. All you do is make a square with well-placed slits and fold it over for the arms. Short sleeves come to the elbow. This design is sometimes called the "Bog Shirt."

Scoop Neck Sweater 19-Sw
This sweater is beautiful done in white or a light color. Texture pattern is created with an easy sequence of knit/purl patterns. Works from the bottom up. Gusset at armpit gives a comfortable fit. sleeves are picked up and knit down to cuff. No seams.

Lace Sweater with Saddle Shoulder 21-Sw
Ready for some lace? I knit my sweater with lovely Euroflax linen yarn. It has a wonderful drape and feel. Any fine yarn will do. Sweater is knit from the bottom up. Sleeves are joined at gusset. A modified raglan decrease forms yoke which is finished with saddle shoulder. No need to shape the neck. It's like magic!

Favorite Things Sweater 24-Sw
Make it with your favorite photos. Charts are given for llamas, skiers and dancers. Sweater is started at bottom. Easy decreases create collar, then sleeves are picked up and knit down.

Short Sleeve to Sleeve Sweater 25-Sw

This sweater looks great with vertical stripes and a complimentary bottom color pattern. Knitting starts at rib of one sleeve and finishes on the other. Bottom band is picked up and knit in the round. Top can be made on a knitting machine.

Field of Sheep Sweater 28-Sw

This sweater is knit from the top down, all in one piece, with raglan sleeves. The easiest sweater to get to fit right because you try it on as you go. Collar has a slight v-shape for extra comfort. Given in stockinette stitch - you can add any design elements you wish.

V-Neck Cardigan 31-Sw

Knit from the top down with a modified raglan - all the advantages of a raglan with the shape of a set sleeve. Sleeves are picked up and knit to cuff. I used several lace patterns on my sweater and knit it in a speckled cotton. So comfy!

Saddle Shoulder Cardigan 32-Sw

This sweater can be knit in a variety of styles with color and texture patterns of your choice. Knit from the bottom up, with a saddle shoulder which blends into a sleeve knit downward. Very interesting to knit, and easy to fit.

Top Down Saddle Shoulder Sweater 34-Sw

Hooded Cardigan 35-Sw

Knit from the collar down with a modified raglan yoke. Hood is picked up and finished after body is complete. Uses our special "no measure" method for a great fit.

Spindle Blouse: 36-Sw
Something to do with all that spindle yarn (or any kind of yarn for that matter . . .) This blouse is another "no-measure" sweater that starts at the collar and increases down through a raglan yoke.

SpinCraft Rectangular Sweater: 39-Sw
This pullover is a combination of three rectangles. It is knit in stockinette and garter st. So it is made in pieces, and then sewn together (Unusual for a SpinCraft Pattern). But sometimes simple things can be the most interesting. This sweater is made with an easy stockinette stitch, featuring stripes on the flared three-quarter sleeve. A sporty looking summer sweater.

Poncho: 41-Sw
Poncho: knit or crochet. Our traditional poncho knitting pattern is worked in two rectangles that sew together to form the nice point in front. Add a fringe and it is a traditional poncho. You can work the rectangles in a nice knit stitch, or in crochet. Or you can weave this on your loom.

Many Colored Sweater: 42-Sw
This sweater can be made with any number of colors. You can follow our color coded chart, or just go crazy with your own stitches. I'm a big fan of going crazy with colors! It will look great with any thickness of yarn from a very fine sport weight, to a thick and bumpy one ply. The only rule is that all the yarn you use must be the same weight.
