Yarn weights/yardage are approximate! Merino yarn is put up in 2 oz/245 yard skeins (and one 4 oz skein)...
The merino is a 2 ply yarn and is great for socks, shawls, hats, sweaters, etc... knit or crochet, whatever you fancy! The skeins are handpainted in pairs to get good matches, if you choose to make socks with this yarn, one skein should make 1 sock...buy 2 if you want to make a pair of adult sized socks.

Wool/nylon yarn is put up in 4 oz skeins
1 skein of sport weight yarn will probably be enough for a pair of socks... if you like your socks longer or have big feet, you might want to get an additional skein of yarn.
2 skeins of worsted weight yarn will be enough for a pair of socks.

Yarns are priced as follows: merino is $10 for a 2 oz skein, $20 for a 4 oz skein. Wool-nylon sport & worsted yarns are $15 for a 4 oz skein. Be sure to write which colorway you prefer & I'll try my best to accomodate your request...
